Proud to Support Future Rochester Legal Professionals with Scholarship Opportunities
As part of the Rochester legal community for over 30 years, Segar & Sciortino takes pride in giving back through the donation of multiple scholarships each year.
Since 2017, Segar & Sciortino has provided scholarships to students in four Rochester area high schools; Aquinas Institute, Brighton, Honeoye-Falls Lima and Palmyra-Macedon. The Segar & Sciortino Award for Integrity is given to a graduating senior who is known by teachers, faculty and staff for displaying good judgement and having high moral character. In addition, the student must make honest and ethical decisions while also displaying leadership qualities.
In January of 2019, Segar & Sciortino extended their scholarship offerings to college students as they partnered with Monroe Community College. The firm provides two scholarships a year to students in the Paralegal Studies Program. The Segar & Sciortino Scholarship in Paralegal Studies is given to students with a 3.0 or higher GPA in the program who have completed a minimum of 11 credits and have written an essay explaining the importance of the Paralegal Program to their future.
