Nicholas M. Warner joined the firm as an associate in 2007 and became a partner in 2014. He was born in Rochester, New York, raised in Fairport and attended high school at the Aquinas Institute of Rochester. While at Aquinas he boxed in three Mission Bouts and considers his experience in the ring a strong foundation for his tough-minded abilities.
After high school he left Rochester for Western Pennsylvania to attend Washington & Jefferson College, located in the foothills of Pittsburgh in Washington, Pennsylvania. He completed his B.A. in History with a minor in Spanish. While enrolled he was also an active member in Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.
After college he returned to upstate New York for law school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He gained a considerable amount of knowledge and experience while enrolled at SUNY Buffalo. In the summer after his first year he served as law clerk for the Honorable Roy King, Rochester City Court Judge. After his second year of law school he served as a Summer Associate for an Insurance Defense Firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
After finishing law school, he returned to the Pittsburgh area and successfully passed the Pennsylvania Bar Examination. He worked in Pittsburgh until 2007. After successfully completing the New York State Bar Examination in February 2007, he moved back to Rochester and joined Segar & Sciortino with the determination and resolve to serve the rights of Rochester’s injured workers. He focuses his practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury.
Nick is a husband and the proud father of two daughters and a son and enjoys spending all of his spare time watching his children grow.
